Are you a skilled Brake Press Setter who is also confident with Fabrication?
Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Fabricator for a Manufacturing company based in Birmingham. You will face the challenge of ensuring that manufacturing and optimisation lists which include specifications and hardware are interpreted successfully to complete the manufacture requirements of the project.
Role responsibilities –
- For the role of Brake Press Fabricator, you must have a sound knowledge of the systems required in the field of production and the machinery required to fulfil the production timetable.
- You must be familiar with supplier manuals, understanding the required methods of fabrication required for different profiles.
- You will adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes for the role of Brake Press Fabricator.
- You must be able to inspect your own work and that of others, understanding what is required and then deciding whether what is produced is ’fit for purpose’.
- For the role of Brake Press Fabricator, you must ensure that all projects are manufactured to the highest standards and delivered on time in accordance with the client contract.
Role requirements –
- You will have worked within metal fabrications in the past for the role of Brake Press Fabricator.
- You will have the ability to work out blank sizes and bend allowances.
- Proven ability to interpret manufacturing/ optimisation lists and specifications including hardware is required for the Brake Press Fabricator role.
- Understanding contents of supplier manuals to complete the required methods of fabrication and able to address this information in terms of assembly requirements.
- Ability to read and recognise profile orientations and technical drawings.
- For the role of Brake Press Fabricator, you will have the ability to operate various machines including CNC machines, Brake press, Laser Cutters, Welders, Hand Tools etc.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools (in excess of 22kg/ 50lbs)
- Ability to remain focussed.
- Good math skills
